1993: A rare ice storm provides for a slick field as the Dallas Cowboys host the Miami
Dolphins. With both teams slipping all day the Cowboys hold a 16-14 lead as they
block a 41 yard Field Goal in the final seconds. However, Leon Lett mistakingly
touches the ball giving Pete Stoyanovich another chance from 19 yards this
time he hits as the Dolphins win 17-16. |

Miami Cold This past off-season when Miami Heat collected the three top free agents by signing Chris Bosh and LeBron James to join Dwyane Wade, expectations were lofty as some thought they would flirt with 70 wins. However, so far they have yet to gel into a cohesive unit; losing their third straight game to the Orlando Magic 104-95 Wednesday Night. Through 15 games the Heat have a mediocre 8-7 record. Against teams with winning record so far, the Heat have lost six of seven games, as their struggles have become the talk of league with even President Barrack Obama taking notice. Symbolic of the Heat's struggles is the team is when both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are on the floor together without Chris Bosh they have been out-scored by 25 points. If the Heat don't get on track soon, could we be seeing Team President Pat Riley return to the bench to replace Coach Erik Spoelstra. |
