2004 NBA PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS
Timberwolves in 5
After 7 straight first round exits the T-Wolves are finally in position to make a long playoff run and they get off to a fast start by dispatching the inexperienced Nuggets in 5 games.
Pacers in 4
This one has sweep written all over it, the Pacers have the best record in the NBA, while the Celtics if they were in the West would have finished 13th with their 36-46 record.
Lakers in 7
When Yao Ming and Shaq match up they bring out the best in each other, expect both to be at the top of their game, as this series stays close throughout going the full 7 game.
Nets in 6
Even if Jason Kidd is not 100% if he is playing the Nets should have no problem beating the Knicks, in the Lincoln Tunnel Showdown who have several injury question marks as well.
Spurs in 5
The defending champion Spurs enter the playoffs on a roll, and are facing a Grizzlies team in the playoffs for the first time, should have no problem taking the series in 5 games.
Pistons in 5
The Pistons with their stifling defense could be the team to be in the East, are without doubt the team nobody wants to face. Look for this one to be over fast.
Mavericks in 6
The Kings literally choked away the Pacific Division title in the final games. Expect them to crash with a loud thud playing a Mavs team that finished the season strong.
Hornets in 6
Just making the playoffs is a major accomplishment for a young Heat team, who will come back to earth facing an experienced Hornets team who are playoff tested.
