4-Caster Frank's NFL Picks
WEEK 2
+3
Panthers 24 Patriots 20
The Patriots are 1-0 and confident while the Panthers are 0-1 and hurting. This one is needed by the Panthers and they will get it avoiding an 0-2 start at home that could peril their season before fall start by pulling off an upset of the 2-time defending Super Bowl Champions one of which was won 2 years ago against these same Panthers.
Lions 24 Bears 10
The only hope for the Bears is for their defense to keep them in the game as they enter their home opener off a dreadful offensive performance on the road last week in Washington. Look for the Bears to go nowhere fast as the Lions behind Kevin Jones and Joey Harrington start 2-0.

Bengals 28 Vikings 17
The Bengals showed signs last week they could be a strong team with a dominant road win over the Browns. This week in their home opener, the Bengals face a Vikings team coming off a poor week 1performance look for more of the same from both teams as the Begnals start 2-0 for the first team in eons.
+6
Texans 20 Steelers 17
Last year the only loss the Steelers suffered came in Week 2, this year after a 1-0 start its
Dj vu as the Texans coming off a poor showing in Week 1 pull off the upset beating the Steelers out right on a late field goal, as Willie Parker struggles to equal his performance from last week, forcing Ben Rothlisberger into a few mistakes.
-3
Colts 24 Jaguars 17
The Colts defense showed signs of improvement nearly shutting out the Raves last week on the road. Now in their home opener they get to avenge a loss last year against the Jaguars. The Colts will win but 9 points is a little high especially for a playoff type team in the Jaguars who will stay within a touchdown all day.
-13
+9
Eagles 41 49ers 10
The Eagles looking to bounce back from a loss in Week 1 will have a great opportunity against the 49ers. The toughest thing for a West Coast team is to have a 1PM Kickoff on the East, especially a young team. The 49ers are improved but this will be a learning experience as the Eagles win big.

Last Week: 10-6 .625
Season Total:   10-6 .625
Buccaneers 20 Bills 13
The Buccaneers are on the road back a solid opening week win in Minnesota and a chance at a 2-0 start. Look for the Buccaneerss defense to frustrate the Bills young QB JP Losman as the Cadillac continues to drive the Buccaneers offense.
+6
Ravens 16 Titans 3
The Ravens are using a back up QB this week but that dose not matter Anthony Wright may even be better the Kyle Boller any way.  The key here is the defense and the Ravens defense angry after their Week 1 loss will tee off on the Titans and bruise and batter Steve McNair all day,as the Titans offense will have a tough time just coming up with 3 points.
-2.5
Falcons 27 Seahawks 17
The Falcons last week shut down the Eagles completely in a solid Monday Night win. Flying cross-country is ordinarily trying for a team from the Southeast, but the Seahawks who never give 100% wont here and will fall prey to the Falcons who will reign as top bird in the NFC at 2-0.
-5.5
Cardinals 24 Rams 20
The Cardinals for a half last week looked strong as they led at halftime, before a complete meltdown. The Cardinals will be more like the team of the first half as Kurt Warner in his desert debut with the Cardinals has a big day against another one of his old teams leading the Cardinals to a win.

-3.5
Chargers 27 Broncos 20
The Chargers loss to the Cowboys may be just a fluke as they were without Anthonio Gates who returns after a 1-week suspension. However, the Broncos loss to the Dolphins exposes much bigger problems. For years the Broncos have managed to stay just good enough to make the playoffs, but now that will no longer work and even great problems will be exposed as they drop their home opener.
-6.5
Packers 38 Browns 20
Last week both teams took on the chin, the difference the Packers were on the road the Browns were at home. This week with the Packers at home they get a feel good win, by thumping on the Browns who are nothing more then an expansion team. Look for a big day from Brett Favre as the Pack get on track. Cardinals 20 Giants 16
+1.5
Jets 17 Dolphins 13
The troubles the Jets had last week must have Jets fans worried as QB Chad Pennington looked awful. Facing a tough Dolphins defense it will be tough for a bounce back. However the Jets should win, but it wont come without a fight as the Dolphins cover.

+3
Chiefs 38 Raiders 24
Randy Moss in his Oakland debut will be primed for a big game as the Raiders offense should be able to score on the Chiefs defense which is not as good as they played in Week 1. However the Raiders defense is as bad as they looked and the Chiefs will be able to outscore them for the primetime road win.
-2
Giants 20 Saints 16
Even though the endzone will say Saints and it will be a Saints home game the crowd will be cheering for the Giants as they begin their home odyssey away from the Superdome. Look for the Saints to put up another strong effort, but this time it won't enough as Eli Manning son of Saints legend Archie gets the Giants off to a 2-0 start.
-3
Cowboys 27 Redskins 6
On Monday the Cowboys will be adding Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin into their famed Ring of Honor, and will give fans a taste of their glory days be easily beating up on the Redskins again, look for the Cowboys defense to have a field day as they beat win 3 Touchdowns.
